2007.06.13 Viceparroco nella parrocchia di Santa Margherita

From domenica scorsa 10 giugno 2007 sono viceparroco della parrocchia di Santa Margherita. Sono ancora alle prese con la sistemazione della mia roba nella nuova stanza e nel mio nuovo ufficio. Ma sono ancora di piu' preso dalla conoscenza di nuove persone, stili e tradizione.

La parrocchia di Santa Margherita e' una parrocchia storica del Pime in Hong Kong. L'ultimo missionario del Pime e' stato qua 10 anni fa orsono, padre Filippo Comissari. Mentre il Pime, anche se in forma diversa, attraverso di me rientra in questa parrocchia, io invece ho chiuso la presenza storica almeno per adesso nell'altra parrocchia, quella di santa Teresa. Al compimento di 75 anni di questa ultima parrocchia, con me si e' chiusa la presenza del Pime in questo altro santuario. Si chiude una porta, come si dice nella tradizione, e se ne apre un'altra.

Parroco di Santa Margherita e' un missionario messicano, padre Gabriele Altamirano. E' davvero un bravo parroco nonche' un grande lavoratore. Conosce bene l'italiano dal momento che ha studiato a Roma. Ma noi abbiamo scelto di comunicare sempre in cantonese perche' siamo in Hong Kong. Ha solo 60 anni. Ci sono altri confratelli che abitano qua: 2 cinesi diocesani (Francis Lee che ha appena celebrato 80 anni e Gabriel Lam che invece ha 73 anni e con qualche problema di salute). Poi c'e' un missionario francese dell'Istituto del M.E.P. che abita con noi ma non e' ufficialmente viceparroco anche se molto lavora nella pastorale (padre Pierre Jeanne).
